"A Hole In The Fabric Of Life..." T-Shirt [White]

This shirt is a depiction of a painting I completed on September 1st, 2025, entitled "A Hole In The Fabric Of Life Is A Stain On The Hand That Is Wielding The Knife". It is a part of my recent collection of black acrylic works reflecting my feelings on the state of the world, and specifically the conditions in Palestine. 

Most of the work I had done for this series is type based, but as a designer who uses symbols to communicate ideas, I became overwhelmed with the thought of there being a terrible tear in the fabric of life.

Using a traditional keffiyeh design, and interconnecting an image of a broken barbed wire fence, I wanted to create a tactile emotion between the softness of the woven fabric and human life, and the cold and stoic and limiting and sharp harshness of steel and war and violence and oppression.
